Message I don't have any math or formulas for you, but when I was into car audio and installing systems, I would use 8 gauge power wire for any amp over 2 hundred watts RMS. Or 4 or 2 gauge for multiple amp setups. It's a matter of making sure current flow is not an issue, not just having aneough.
